RNLI man comes to rescue

Oscar Knight, the 10-year-old who was robbed of his rehabilitation hopes after thieves stole the kayaks he and his family use, is back on the water – thanks to a kind-hearted benefactor.
Going out on the water with parents Natasha and Will was the only exercise and enjoyment the wheelchair- bound youngster could take part in until the kayaks were stolen last month.
But now RNLI sea safety officer John Yunnie has come to the rescue and offered the family permanent use of his own kayak.
RNLI sea safety officer John, who lives in Blackawton, learned about Oscar’s plight in last week’s Dartmouth Chronicle.
