Dartmouth police appeal for witnesses
POLICE are appealing for witnesses, after a verbal attack on a member of the public.
At approximately 9am on Thursday, February 6, a man driving a white vehicle on Townstal Road, Dartmouth, approached a member of the public and was verbally abusive, causing them alarm and distress.
The incident happened just outside the football club. Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone that may have further information on the man or incident itself. Please call 101 quoting crime reference number JH/14/49.
Police are also on the look out for the culprit who caused £1,000 worth of damage to a car parked in Dartmouth last week.
The silver Jaguar was parked in the Mayors Avenue area of the town at the time of the incident.
A police spokesman said: ‘The vehicle has been damaged on the roof and doors, which is likely to be caused when someone runs over the vehicle.’
The damage is thought to total more than £1,000. Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 quoting crime reference number JH/14/58.
