Townstal Community Partnership put on ‘messy and creative day’ last week

MORE than 60 people attended Townstal Community Partnership’s ‘messy and creative’ day last week.

The event, held on Saturday, April 2 at the Townstal Community Hall, saw residents of all ages participating in various activities.

There was junk modelling with Katie, creative modelling with Alan Hemsley, woodcarving with ‘Dangerous Dad’s’ Dan and ‘learning to face-paint with Leanna, crochet and wool craft workshops with instructors from the Social Fabric in Totnes, parsley potting courtesy of Dartmouth Green Partnership, decorative Easter painting with Helen Snowden and bunny sewing with Bettina.

Refreshments were provided and local residents Ann Matthews and her sister Tina Houghton provided homemade soups cooked at the hall.

A spokesman for the Townstal Community Partnership said: ‘A big thank you to all who made this possible and all those who came out to play’.
