Camille raises money for CLIC Sargent and donates hair to Little Princess Trust

Camille Collins has raised more than £580 for CLIC Sargent and donated her hair to The Little Princess Trust.
Camille, 9, known as Cammie, lives in Kingswear and has been growing her hair for more than a year so she could donate it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that
provides real hair wigs free of charge to children across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
Cammie’s mother Chantal said: “As the day got closer we also decided to setup a sponsorship page through Virgin Money Giving with the target of raising £50 to donate to CLIC Sargent. Within the first two hours this target was met.
“When we arrived at the hair dressers, on Saturday, April 22, we met Lauren. Lauren had just donated her hair to the same charity the day before, so who better to do the chop!
“Lauren did a brilliant job and Cammie’s hair was bagged up and ready to send.”
So far, Cammie’s page has raised £583.13 – including Gift Aid, and you can still donate by visiting:
